Funeral services were held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 6, in the Beech Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Major Lewis conducted the services. Burial was in the Beech Springs Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include three sons, James E. Duck and Douglas Wayne Duck, both of Quitman and Robert Dale Duck of Jonesboro; One daughter, Mrs. Billie Fruge of Lake Charles; three sisters, Miss Iris Grissom, Mrs. Edna Hanes and Mrs. Mary Lowe, all of Quitman; three grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Hillman Pate, Joe Caskey, Bobby Horton, Roy Koonce, Ken Hartsfield and Glen Carter.
