Duck passes away Mr. James Henry Duck, 48, passed away Thursday in his home at Quitman after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 PM in the Beech Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Cavanaugh officiating, assisted by Rev. McCloud and Rev. C. W. Aswell. Interment was in the Beech Springs Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Survivors include, his widow, Mrs. Novis Duck; four children; one daughter Billy Jean and three sons, Eddie, Dale and Douglas, all of Quitman; seven sisters, Mrs. Carmen Grant and Mrs. Corinne Grant, both of Grayson, Mrs. Carl Hughes of Jonesboro, Mrs. Robert Rasbury of Quitman, Mrs. Lorraine Wages of Quitman, Mrs. Louis Thornton of Bossier City and Mrs. Melba Whitten of New Martinsville, West Virginia; three brothers, B. R. Duck of Jonesboro and D. E. Duck and G. F. Duck, both of Quitman. Additional Comments: James Henry Duck and Novis Grissom were united in marriage on Feb. 16, 1934 at Quitman, by Justice W. S.
