Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 8, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church. Rev. Wayne Toms, Rev. Bobby Jones, Rev. Huey Thompson and Rev. Bill Fuller conducted the services. Burial was in the Union Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Lee Gresham of Quitman; two sons, J. D. Gresham of Big Springs, TX., and Paul Gresham of Quitman; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Geter of Jonesboro; six grandchildren also survive. Additional Comments: Archie Lee Gresham was married to Mary Lee "Mae" Mangum. They were the parents of J.D., Bessie Mae, Edward, Shirley, Paul and Charlotte. He ran a sawmill with the help of some kinfolk. When the boys started developing muscles from working there, they jokingly painted a sign that stated "Muscles Sawmill".
