Rev. Irvin DeWitt conducted the services. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Grissom died Saturday morning, March 22, in the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport after a brief illness. Survivors include one son, Robert Grissom of Quitman; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Vail of Quitman and Mrs. Mary Edith McBride of Jonesboro; Two brothers, Roy McCloud and Robert McCloud, both of Westlake; two sisters, Mrs. Jewel Robinson of Hodge and Mrs. Mary Thomas of Quitman; five grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Lamar Hathaway, Lane Pace, Dan Hughes, Troy Wyatt, Bo Porter, Wallace McMurray and Prentiss Fowler.
