Funeral Services Held for Lorene Grissom

Funeral services for Miss Lorene Grissom, age 41, of Quitman, were held at 4 
PM Tuesday at the Beech Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Loyd Baird and Rev. 
Wayne Toms conducting. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction 
of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. 
Mrs. Grissom passed away Sunday at her home following a lengthy illness.
The deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Etta Grissom of Quitman, a 
brother, Thurmon Grissom of Jonesboro; and four sisters; Mrs. Mary Lowe, Mrs. 
Novis Duck, Mrs. Ira Hanes and Miss Iris Grissom, all of Quitman.

Additional Comments:
Lorene was the daughter of John Edmund Grissom and Etta O. Loe. 
Lorene never married, but enjoyed traveling the US with her family, taking 
pictures of the places she visited.
