Rev. C. C. Milstead and Rev. Roger Johnson conducted the services. Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery near Quitman under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Grissom died Saturday in the Alpine Nursing Home of Ruston, following a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Henry, Jr., of Ruston; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Pete Harvey, Doyle Carr, Ermon McConathy, Paul Nunn, Jack Minter and J. W. Richardson. Additional Comments: May Belle Minter married James David Grissom on Jan. 19, 1908 at Mt. Zion Church near Vernon with the Elder Seaborn A.W. Jones officiating. They were the parents of Dixie (G.) Moore and Eva (G.) Henry. She was the daughter of Ike G. Minter and Mattie L. Nunn.
