Funeral services were held at 2 PM Saturday in the Sweetwater Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Toms, pasteror and Rev. Loy Baird and Rev. R. K. Reicharhdt conducting. Burial was in the Antioch Cemtery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Loe, Winston Loe and Ed Loe, all of Quitman; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Browder of Chatham, Mrs. Leon Pardue and Mrs. Etta Grissom both of Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. E. L. Harvey of Jonesboro and Mrs. L. R. Anderson of Quitman; seven grandchildren also survive. Additional Comments: Ludie Katherine Nix was married to John A. Loe on November 26, 1899 at Mt. Zion Church near Vernon with the Elder Seaborn A.W. Jones officiating. They were the parents of John Tom, Mary Lou, James Weldon, Winston Woodrow,and Effie Dee Loe.
