Mrs. Loe was a native of Coushatta, but was a longtime resident of Jackson Parish. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Quitman Baptist Church. Mrs. Loe was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Loe. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 8 in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Rev. Dalton Shovan and Rev. Larry Holland conducted the services. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery near Quitman, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Loe Mann of Warwick, Georgia, Mrs. Nellie Loe Harvey of Mt. Olive and Mrs. Jessie Loe Wheat of Quitman; Two sisters, Mrs. Maude Brown of Marshall, Texas and Mrs. Eva Valentine of Ruston; Five grandchildren, Yvonne Mann James and Jimmy Dale Mann, both of Warwick, Georgia; Kathy Harvey Higginbotham of Porter, Texas, Jerry Michelle Cavett of Jonesboro and William Timothy Wheat of Quitman; three great grandchildren; Jeannie James, Amanda Mann and Steven Higginbotham; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers were Glen Adkins, Evan Allen, John Allen, Matt Ferguson, Olive Houck, Robbie Houck, Jimmy Dale Mann and William Timothy Wheat.
