Rev. Stuart Toms conducted the services. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery near Quitman, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Lowe died Thursday, February 25, in the Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston after a lengthy illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson Parish. Mrs. Lowe was a retired nurse, having worked for Dr. John Robinson for many years, and also worked for several other doctors in this area. She was a Baptist, and was a member of the Crescent Chapter No. 64, Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Dale Lowe. Survivors include her husband, James W. Lowe of Quitman; three sons, Jimmy Lowe of Jonesboro, Johnny Lowe and Paul Lowe, both of Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Edna Hanes of Quitman; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerry Hanes, Teddy Wilkerson, Ernest Lowe, Jackie Lowe, Mike Lowe and Samson Lowe Additional Comments: my mother-in-law.
