Lowe, age 79, of Quitman, passed away early Monday morning, December 15, in the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jonesboro, after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Sweetwater Baptist Church. Rev. Wayne Toms conducted the services. Burial was in the Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Lowe, a native of Quitman, was a retired farmer. He is survived by three sons, Marvin Lowe and Neil Lowe, both of Quitman and Melvin Lowe of Helena, Montana; one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Pellegrin of Quitman; Five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Williams and Mrs. Myrtle Jimmerson, both of Simsboro, Mrs. Lizzie Quinn of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Susie Williams and Mrs. Cora Pate, both of Lake Charles; Three brothers, Otis Lowe and Henry Lowe, both of Quitman and Ennis Lowe of Simsboro; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Randy Pellegrin, Gene Lowe, Michael Lowe, Jackie Lowe, Earnest Lowe, Lester Martin and Daniel Gilbert. Additional Comments: Jessie Jackson Lowe was the son of William W.
