Funeral services were held at 3 PM Sunday in Quitman Baptist Church with the Rev. C. C. Milstead officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, James L. (Buddy) Moore Sr. of Quitman; two sons, Shelton Moore, Quitman and James L. Moore,Jr. of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Vonnie Powell, Monroe, and Mrs. H. L. Henry, Sr., of Ruston; also six grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. B. Blalock, Melvin Blalock, Ermon McConathy, Pete Harvey, James Earl Harvey, and Bobby Vail. Additional Comments: Dixie Irene Grissom married James Linwood "Buddy" Moore on July 19, 1930 in Jackson Parish, La. with Rev. F. A. Clampett officiating. Dixie was the daughter of James David Grissom and May Belle Minter.
