Nazworth Passes Away John Albert Nazworth, age 74, died Sunday in the local hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 2 PM Monday at the Antioch Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Herb Johnson conducting. Bural was in the Antioch Cemtery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Nazworth was a retired paper mill employee. Survivors include his widow; six daughters, Mrs. J. T. Porter and Mrs. Emory Cathey, both of Jonesboro, Mrs. S. H. Daughterty of Mokena, Illinois, Mrs. M. L. Lowe of Orange, TX, Miss Adeal Nazworth of Denver, Colorado and Mrs. W. D. Cooper of Friona, TX; three brothers Jeff Nazworth of Friona, TX., Norman Nazworth of Orange, TX., and Henry Nazworth of Durant, OK; six sisters, Mrs. Luther Gray and Mrs. Claude Ponder, both of Jonesboro, Mrs. Grady Gray of Fort Worth, TX., Mrs. Leonard Clark of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. A.B. Walker of Quitman and Mrs. Travis Edmiston of Clay; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Additional Comments: John Albert Nazworth married Jessie Pearl Kirbow on December 29, 1910 in Jackson Parish, La. They were the parents of Arville,Lucille, Clotile, Martile, Adeal, John Jr., and Doyle. John was the son of John Henry Nazworth,Jr. and Nancy Carolina "Callie" Cox.
