Rev. James Coward and Rev. Frank Shields conducted the services. Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Miss Thomas died Monday night, April 28, from injuries she received in an automobile accident. She was a student at Weston High School, was a member of the 4-H Club, FHA, FBLA, and was active in basketball and softball at the school. She was a member of the choir at Central Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stafford Thomas of Route 1, Chatham; three sisters, Nicole A. Thomas, Aimee Thomas and Candyce Thomas, all of Route 1, Chatham; One brother Joseph Thomas of Route 1, Chatham; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ramsey of Chatham.
