Funeral services held today for Mrs. Walker
Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanett Walker, age 44, of Quitman will be held 
today, Thursday, March 22, 1984, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman. 
Rev. Wayne Toms and Rev. Stuart Toms will conduct the services. 
Burial will be in the Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds 
Funeral Home of Jonesboro. 
Mrs. Walker died Monday night, March 19, in the Jackson Parish Hospital in 
Jonesboro, after a lengthy illness. 
Survivors include her husband, Harold Walker of Quitman; three sons, Dewayne 
(Buck) Walker, Glen Dale Walker and Justin Walker, all of Quitman; two 
daughters, Mrs. Vickie Tilley of Quitman and Mrs. Gwen Plunkett of Jonesboro; 
five grandchildren, Brandy Tilley, Nicole Tilley, and Jimmy Tilley,Jr. of 
Quitman; Bridget and Joshua Plunkett of Jonesboro; 
Her mother, Mrs. Annie Lee Lewter Chisholm and stepfather, L. M. Chisholm of 
Hodge; five brothers, Huey P. Lewter of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, 
Ernest Lewter and W. D. Lewter, both of Jonesboro, Bobby Lewter of Hodge, and 
Gerald Lewter of Atlanta, Texas; 
Five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Lowrey of Hodge, Mrs. Edith Ware of Lockport, 
Illinois, Mrs. Dorothy Simmons of Mansfield, Mrs. Pat Johnson of Port Arthur, 
Texas, and Mrs. Marlene Noll of Garrison, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Walker, Robert Walker, Donald Walker, Harold Leo 
Walker, Matt Walker and Dennis Smith.
