All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Funeral services for William Joe Jones, 76, life long resident of Jackson parish, whose death occurred at his home on Route 2, Jonesboro, on Saturday, June 17, were held Tuesday afternoon, June 20, at four o'clock at the McDonald Baptist Church. The Reverend J. W. Buckner of Crossett, Arkansas and the Reverend Paul Hammond of Hodge, officiated at the service. Interment was in the Jonesboro cemetery under the direction of Edmonds funeral home. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife and four children, a son Reggie Jones of Jonesboro, and three daughters, Mrs. Dave Duck and Mrs. E. S. Ferguson of Jonesboro, and Mrs. D. L. Goodman of Lomita, California. Pallbearers were: John Henry Jordan, Arville Walsworth, Elton Treadway, Ray Turner, Ed May and Prentis Jones. Honorary Pallbearers were: Roy Woods, Leon Jordan, George Hanna and Joe Murray.
