Mr. Samuel David Lemmons, age 55, of Jonesboro, La., passed away Wednesday, 
February  2, 2005, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, La.  He  was a member 
of Summer Grove Baptist Church of Shreveport.  

He was the son of the late Buster Lemmons and Mae (Coleman) Lemmons.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (Hall) Lemmons of Jonesboro; 

Two Daughters,
Samantha Webb of Dodson, La.                                     
Abby Rozelle of Winnfield, La.                                     

One Step Daughter,
Dana Shoemaker of Quitman, La.

Three Sisters,
Shirley Randle of Houma, La.                                     
Delores Gillespie of Shreveport, La.
Karen White of Winnfield, La.


Two grandchildren  
Drew Webb  and Jolie Rozell

One Step-grandchild
Katelyn Shoemaker

Mr. Lemmons was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Lemmons    

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., 202 E. 
Lafayette St., Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends on 
Friday, February 4, 2005 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and on Saturday, February 
5, 2005 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral services will be held at the 
Southern Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00 am, with 
Rev. Larry Jinks and Rev. Buddy Ellington officiating.  Interment will be at 
Zion Rest Cemetery in Jonesboro, La.
