All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Sicily Angeline Mabry, age 86 years, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Lucky in Jonesboro, on Wednesday night, December 28. Funeral services were held in at the Jonesboro Baptist Church at 11 o'clock, Friday, December 30, conducted by Rev. John Hurt, Jr., Rev. A. A. Knight and Rev. G. Avery Lee officiating. Mrs. Mabry is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Lucky, Mrs. John T. Melton, and Miss Miranda Mabry; one sister, Mrs. J. E. Mabry, of Fort Worth, Texas; fifteen grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were all grandsons, Sam R. Lucky, Paul Lucky, Billie Lucky, Ernest Lucky, Elmer Lucky, Joe T. Melton, Jr., Raymond Melton, Edward Williams, Frank Williams, and Clyde Williams. Interment was in Weldon cemetery, near Bernice, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Mrs. Mabry was a member of the Baptist church and lived a devout Christian life.
