B. May Judge Barry May, age 78, passed away at his home near Chatham, Thursday, February 28, following a long illness. Funeral services were held Friday, March 1, at the Hickory Springs Methodist Church with Rev. George Womack of Monroe, and Rev. Leon Scott of Chatham conducting. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Suvivors include his widow; two sons, Lloyd May and Travis May, both of Chatham; four daughters, Mr. Lonnie Johnston of Maplewood, Mrs. Chester Mack of Walker, Mrs. Bert Chatham of Chatham, and Mrs. Quincy Lisenby of Olla; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive.
