rvices for Mrs. Ola Jordan May, 88-year-old Jackson Parish, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hickory Grove Methodist Church, near Chatham, with the Rev. Geo. Womack officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of a funeral home out of Jonesboro. Mrs. May died about 6 p.m. Friday at her home, located just across the Caldwell in the neighboring parish of Jackson. Her death came after a long illness. Survivors include two sons - Lloyd May and Travis May, both residing on the home place; three daughters: Mrs. Irene Mack of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Myrtle Lizenby of Olla, and Mrs. Jewel Johnston of Maplewood; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Rogers of Columbia; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: Ola Jordan MAY was the wife of Judge Barry MAY. She was buried in Hickory Springs Cemetery with her husband.
