He was born on February 5, 1911 to Author & Mary Etta Murray in Farmerville, LA. Ester married Ruby Neugent on October 15, 1958 in Cooke County, Gainesville, TX. He was a customer technician for IBM. Also he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, Days of Our Lives soap opera, & he was an O.U. football fan. Ester is survived by his wife Ruby of the home; Children: Linda Autry & husband, Ken of Georgetown, LA, Charles Brumley & wife, Barbara of Pensacola, FL, Peggy Taylor & husband, Clark of OKC, Sydney Baker of Pryor, OK, & Ruby Brown & husband, Michael of Madison, AL, 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, & many nieces & nephews. Preceding Ester in death was his mother, his father, & his brothers & sisters. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Northeast Chapel with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
