ral services for Mrs. Ila R.
Norred, age 91, of Quitman, Will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7,
1990, in the Buck Edmonds Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro.  Rev. Ray Bailey
will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Hodge Cemetery under
direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Norred died Tuesday,
September 4, in the Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, after a short
illness.  She was a native of Jackson Parish, born and raised in the Beech
Springs Community.  Mrs. Norred was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist
Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Norred of
Manson, Washington and Donnie Norred of Hodge; one daughter, Mrs. Mary
Watkins of Clayton, La.; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Rogers of Shreveport; seven
grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren ans three great great
grandchildren.
