Norred November 10, 1926 Jackson Independence Miss Sallie Carson was born February 17, 1856 in Jackson Parish, La.and left her earthly home at Jonesboro, La., November 10, 1926, togo to that home prepared for the Lord's redeemed children. She was united in marriage to J. M. Norred on December 24, 1875. Tothis union, ten children where born. Her husband and seven childrenand twenty-six grand children surive her. The children who survive her are: R. A. Norred of Dodson La., Mrs. A. H. Clayton, Jonesboro, W. L. Norred, Hodge, Mrs. R. E. L. Bunch, Wright City, Okla., Mrs. N. F. Hennington, Memohis, Tenn., J. W. Norred, Jonesboro, andJ. E. Norred, Detroit, Mich. She was converted in early childhood and sanctified near thirty yearsago and lived a beautiful Christian life. She first joined the Methodistchurch and in later years united with the church of the Nazarene andremained a faithful member till death. Funeral services was held Thursday, Nove 11, from the Church at Hodge,conducted by her former pastor, Rev. W. M. D. Gaar
