Falba Louise Peevy, 82, of Jonesboro died Friday, February 27,
1998 in Lincoln General Hospital, Ruston. Services were held at 2:00
pm, Sunday, March 1, in Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stuart
Toms officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Cemetery under the
direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Mrs. Peevy was born in Bienville
Parish and lived most of her life in Jonesboro.  She graduated from
Quitman High School and received her Bachelors Degree from Louisiana

Falba Louise Peevy
Jonesboro, LA
   her and taught in
Jackson Parish for over 40 years.  She was a member of the Quitman
Baptist Church.  Mrs. Peevy was preceded in death by her husband,
former Jonesboro police chief, Adrian Peevy. Survivors include three
sisters-in-law; Mrs Faye Caraway and Mrs. Annine Vail of Jonesboro,
Mrs. Deamon Vail of Quitman, and a number of neices and nephews.
Pallbearers were Gary Brown, Dale Hobson, Kevin Hobson, John D
Jimmerson, Gary Nunn, Hoye Smitherman.
