Funeral Services held for Miss Vera Peel
   Funeral services for Miss Vera A Peel, age 71, of Quitman, were held at
11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 1985 in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home in
Jonesboro. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Miss Peel died Monday, July 29 in the Jackson
Parish Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include one brother, Elton
Peel of Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Gilmore of Texarkana, Texas and
Mrs. Augusta Womack of Shreveport; a number of neices and nephews also
survive.
