Lifelong Resident of Jackson Parish Succumbs
Robert E. Peppers, 81 years old died in a Jonesboro hospital on
Sunday, Dec. 24. Funeral services were held in the Springhill
Primitive Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 25, at 3 P.M. with Rev.
John S. Hurt Jr. officiating.Interment was in the Springhill
cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: J. L. Poda, S. W. Smith, S. Womack, Felton Butler,
J. M. Pepper  and Walter Ott.Mr. Peppers is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Florence E. (Smith) Peppers and three daughters, Mrs. Mark
Greer,Wyatt; Mrs. Ray Greer, Hodge; and Mrs. J. M. Pepper,
Jonesboro.
