Winn Parish Enterprise, May 23, 2001
Betty Jo Rasbury Funeral services for Betty Jo Rasbury were held at
2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Winnfield
with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial followed in Friendship
Cemetery, Quitman, La. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home,
Winnfield. Mrs. Rasbury, age 53, of Winnfield, died Friday, May 18,
2001 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.  She was a member of First
Baptist Church and worked in the First Baptist Church Day Care
Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Rasbury and
her mother, Mable Foster and a brother, Jimmy Foster. Survivors
include one son, Living Rasbury of Winnfield: two daughters. Living
Persilver and Living White, both of Winnfield; her father, Living
Foster of Winnfield; two brothers, Living Foster of Shreveport and
Living Foster of Winnfield; one sister, Living Caron of Shreveport.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Day Care Toy fund.
