Lessie Lee Ramsey, 70
	Mrs. Lessie Lee Ramsey, age 70 of Chatham, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 
at Cornerstone Hospital of West Monroe following a lengthy illness. 
	Mrs. Ramsey was born in Sikes to the late Oscar Lee Lowery and the 
late Iva Mae Rison Lowery. 
	Visitation was held at Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 4: 30 
PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, June 6, 2007 and Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 9:00 
AM until time for services. Funeral services were held in the Chapel of 
Southern Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, June 7, 2007 with Reverend Mike Joyner 
officiating. Interment was in Transport Cemetery near Dodson under the 
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. 
	Mrs. Ramsey is survived by her husband, Clifton Ramsey of Chatham; 
son, Chet Ramsey of Chatham; three daughters, Patricia Austin and Gloria 
Womack, both of Chatham and Carolyn Bond Vindel and husband Juan of Jackson, 
Ms.; Four brothers, Douglas Lowery of Jonesboro, Bobby Lowery of Alabama, 
Lindell Lowery of Chatham, Donnie Lowery of Olla; two sisters, Lecia Blair and 
Lou Ann Howell both of Winnfield; ten grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren 
with three more soon to be added; a host of nieces, nephews and other 
relatives and friends. 
	Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Iva Mae 
Lowery; brother, Billy Lowery.
