P. Rasbury, 88, Succumbs at home here early Today J. P. Rasbury, 88, died early today in Ruston hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services are tentatively set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. George Ross officiating. Interment will be in Simsboro Cemetery under the direction of Congers Funeral Home at Arcadia. Masonic rites will be held at the cemetery. Mr. Rasbury was a retired farmer and one of the oldest masons in Louisiana. Survivors include three sons, Noel and W. C. Rasbury both of Hodge, and Haskell Rasbury, Ruston; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Defreese of Ruston and (Living) Andrews of Pineville; one brother, Allen Rasbury of Simsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Pesnell, Simsboro, and Mrs. Myrtie Daniels, Carlsbad, NM., and eight grandchildren.
