A native of Hodge, Mr. Rasbury retired after 40 years of services at the paper mill in Hodge. He was a paper maker. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, in the Buck Edmonds Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. Rev. E D Morris conducted the services. Burial was in the Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zadie Thomas Rasbury of Quitman; two sons, George E Rasbury of Jamestown and Freddie Rasbury of Choteau, Oklahoma; Two sisters, Mrs. Illa Norred of Hodge and Mrs. Rachel Rogers of East Texas; one brother, Jimmy Rasbury of Lake Charles; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Michael Rasbury, Billy Rasbury, Richard Rasbury, Kenneth Rasbury, Max Rasbury and Donnie Williams.
