Mr. Rasbury was a former resident of Hodge. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, in the Buck Edmond's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. Rev. Harry Jones, Rev. Jeff Duke and Rev. Terrall T. Lowe conducted the services. Masonic graveside services were held in the Prospect Cemetery, near Clay, under the direction of the Jonesboro-Hodge Masonic Lodge, No. 280 F&AM. Burial was under the direction of Edmond's Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Rasbury was a native of Jackson Parish. He retired from the paper mill in Hodge as a Pulp Mill Supervisor, after 38 years of service. Mr. Rasbury was a member of the Methodist Church, and was a member of the Jonesboro-Hodge Masonic Lodge No. 280 F&AM. He had been a Master Mason for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Helean Rasbury of Carthage, Texas; three sons, William Rasbury and Harvey Rasury, both of Houston, Texas and Jerald Rasbury of Bossier City. Two daughters, Mrs. Mary Christine Aulds of Choudrant and Mrs. Delores Frazier of Chatham; one sister, Mrs Clarice Andrews of Pineville; seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren and eighteen step great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don LeBlanc, L. E. Wells, Samuel Lamkin, Aubrey Futrell, Norman Okerstrom and Charles Worthington. Additional Comments: note: his wifes name should be spelled Heleon, she was his second wife. His first wife was Frances Eugenia Fredericks.
