Rentz, June 19th aged 72 years. She had been in poor health for a number of years, but remained up until just a few daysbefore death came, when she became unconscious, and although a brave fight was made to restore her to consciousness, science could not copewith nature and the end came peacefully and painlessly. The remains wereconveyed to the Mt. Zion cemetery on the afternoon of the 20th wherefuneral and burial services were held. Mrs. Rentz was a devoted wife and mother, and her children "rise upand call her beloved." Besides her husband she is survived by one son and three daughters, namely: Mr. E. M. Rentz and Mrs. Dan Moore, Mrs.Olie Brooks and Mrs. Dixie Anderson.
