Lillian Rasberry Ricks, Quitman, LA
   Services for Mrs. Lillian Rasberry Ricks, 95, of Quitman were
held 10:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 1997 at Edmonds Funeral Home
with Rev. Matthew Daford and Dr. Herb Dickerson. Burial was in Beech
Springs Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral
Home. Mrs. Ricks died Friday, September 19, 1997 in Lincoln General
Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Barton and husband
Art of Monroe, her son, Alfred P. Ricks and wife Bea of Lockesburg,
Ark; one sister, Margaret Peel of Quitman; two brothers, Herbert
Rasberry of Quitman, William Rasberry, Lafayette; also survived by
six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great
grandchildren. Pallbearers were Carroll Robinson, Buster Self,
Raymond Borland, Emery Gilliam, Jed Esseier, and Henry Runyon.
