Graveside services for Rev. H. M. Roach will be held on Saturday, December 6, 
2008, at 2:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jonesboro. Rev. Robert Tyler and 
Rev. Peyton Bass will officiate.Visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 
2008, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Bro. Roach was born on September 13, 1917, in Choudrant, LA. He was the son of 
Peter Ladelle Roach an Maggie Tabitha Fryday Roach. He went to be with the 
Lord on December 4, 2008 at the age of 91.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-
great-grandfather. He dedicated his life to sharing God's Word and Love, 
serving as a Baptist minister, preacher and pastor for 65 years.

Bro. Roach is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lonie Mardell Strain Roach of 
Quitman, LA., two sons, Sebron Ladelle Roach and wife Joan of Pleasant Hill, 
LA., and Bruce Lawrence Roach and wife Beth of Minot, North Dakota, two 
daughters, Edwena Ayers of Knoxville, TN., and Melba Camp and husband Ronald 
of Alexandria, LA., eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-grandchild. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews and a host of 
friends.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to local churches or favorite 
charities.
