Nina Shows, 84
  Funeral services for Nina Lloyd Shows, 84, of Jonesboro were held
April 5 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy
McBride officiating. Burial followed in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Mrs.
Shows died April 3 at the Lincoln General Hospital after a lengthy
illness.  She was retired from the bag mill-Continental Can
Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J.P. Warren; sister, Gwen W. Mosley; brother, Hulen C. Warren; and
grandson, Mitchel Roy Toms. She is survived by her husband, W.D.
"Dub" Shows of Jonesboro; son, Jack Womack and wife Lucille of
Houma; daughters, Nita Toms of Winnfield, Mary Ann Miller of Ruston
and Melba Thrift and husband Stanley of Wisner; 11 grandchildren; 27
great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. Services were under
the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
