Funeral Held For C. M. Tolar
   Funeral services for Charles Monroe Tolar, age 55, of Winnfield,
were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 20 in the Chapel of Southern
Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Rev. Willie James conducted the services.
Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery under the direction of Southern
Funeral Homes of Jonesboro. Mr. Tolar died Sunday, January 18, in
the Tioga Manor Nurcing Home in Tioga, after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include three sons, Lynn Tolar of Winnfield, Larry Tolar
and Barry Tolar both of Ruston; six daughters, Mrs. Gloria Anders of
Sarepta, Mrs. Sharon Trevillion of Simsboro, Mrs. Ester Spears of
Winnfield, Mrs. Laresea Tolar of West Monroe and Mrs. Teresa Norman
of Choudrant; One sister, Mrs. Patsy Newsom of Jonesboro; one
brother, Geprge Tolar of Jonesboro; seventeen grandchildren also
survive. Pallbearers were Richey Tolar, Ronnie Tolar, Rusty Tolar,
Al Newsom, Dale Newsom and Ralph Hargrove.
