Mrs. Essie Upton of Pine Bluff, Ark. Died Friday September 29, 1972 in the
Jefferson Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday October 1, in the Church of
Christ in Bluff City, Ark. with the Rev. Fred Casey conducing the services.
Burial was in Bluff City cemetery under the directions of Ralph Robinson
Funeral Home.
Survivors include Major Ed Askew of Hodge and Dale Askew of Lake Charles;
one daughter, Mrs. Charles Buckner of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 6 grandchildren and
10 great-grandchildren.
