Cane, LA and died Thursday, February 8, 2001 in Pinehill Nursing Home.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 10, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Edmonds
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Mac McBride, Rev. Wayne Morrow and Dr.
John Charles officiating. Burial was in Garden Of Memories under the
direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Vail was a member of
the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and was a retired bookkeeper for the
Jackson Parish School Board.  She was preceded in death by her husband, A.
M. "Preacher" Vail, 1 daughter, Mary Frances McDonald and 1 son, Joe Vail.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Dorothy Rasbury and husband Harvey of
Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a number of neices
and nephews. Pall bearers were Clay Rasbury, Curtis Rasbury, James Robbins,
Sr., Bobby Vail, Dickie Vail, Joe Vail, and Tim Hines.
