Allen M. (Preacher) Vail
    Jonesboro - Services for Mr. Allen M. (Preacher) Vail, 81 of
Jonesboro will be hels at 2 p.m., Sunday January 22 in the First
Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Officiating will be Dr. Herb Dickerson
and Rev. A J Baxter. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories
Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mr. Vail died Friday January 20, 1989 in Ruston.  He was a veteran
of WWII, serving with the Seabees, a retired bookkeeper for the
Jackson Parish School Board and a member of the First Baptist
?C?hurch. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Annine Vail of Jonesboro; two
daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Rasbury of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Mary
McDonald of Taylor, Arkansas; one brother, Jeffie Vail of Quitman;
two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Brown of Hodge and Mrs. Falba Peevy of
Jonesboro; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
