Vail, Annine March 15, 2001

Annine Vail, 89, of Jonesboro, La. was born January 3, 1912 in Grand Cane,
La. and died Thursday February 8, 2001 on the Pinehills Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Saturday February 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Edmonds
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mac McBride, Rev. Wayne Morrow and Dr.
John Charles officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories cemetery
under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vail was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and was a
retired bookkeeper for the Jackson Parish School Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband A. M. “Preacher” Vail; one
daughter, Mary Francis McDonald and one son, Joe Vail.
She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Rasbury and husband Harvey of
Houston, Texas; 4 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, and a number of
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Clay Rasbury, Curtis Rasbury, James Robbins Sr., Bobby
Vail, Dickie Vail, Joe Vail and Tim Hines.
