Funeral services for Lillian Lawrence Vail, 96, of Jonesboro were held March
30, 2004 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Moss
officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Olive East Cemetery.
Mrs. Moss died March 28, 2004 at Forest Haven Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 27, 1907 in Quitman, she was a housewife.
Mrs. Vail was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Emmett Vail; and
daughter, Maude Helen Stadtlander.
She is survived by son, J.D. Vail of Campti; six grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and
nephew.
Pallbearers were Ronald Crow, Douglas Vail, Steve Vail, Jimmy Nicholson,
Pete Lyles, Bo Stadtlander and David Vail.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
