(March 8, 1948 - June 12, 2005) 

SOUTHERN - JONESBORO LA 
Mr. Carl G. Walker, age 60 of Jonesboro, La., died June 12, 2005 at the 
Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro. Mr. Walker was a mill wright at Smurfit-
Stone Container. 

Funeral services were held at 4PM, Thursday June 16, 2005 in the North Hodge 
Assembly of God Church with Reverends David Wilson and Mark Crook officiating. 
Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction 
of Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. 

Survivors include: his wife Evelyn Walker of Jonesboro, one son: Keith Walker 
and his wife Rhonda of Chatham, La.; One Daughter: Carla hightower and her 
husband Kent of Jonesboro; four sisters: Karen Crook and her husband Mark of 
Bossier City, La., Katy McCloure and her husband Buddy of Shreveport, La., 
Earline Morman and her husband Pat of Warren, AR., and Mary Ruth Jordan and 
her husband Charles of Oil City, La.; two brothers: Ray Walker and wife Sandra 
of Alexandria La., and Kenneth Walker and his wife Vickie of Bryant, AR.; Four 
Grandchildren: Rebecca Hightower, Daniel Hightower, Garrett Walker and Morgan

Pallbearers were: Joel Sneed, Ricky Allen, Junior Williams, todd Abercrombie, 
Bobby Pepper, Jay Odom, Andy Barker, Jamie Ford. Honorary Pallbearers were: 
the Maintenance Dept at Smurfit-Stone Container.
