Stuart Toms officiating. Burial followed in the Sweetwater Cemetery. Mrs. Walker died September 7 at her home. Born April 9, 1912 in Quitman, she was a housewife. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, A. B. Walker; three sons, Harold, Earl, and John; and one daughter, Essie Walker. She is survived by daughters, Bessie Williams and husband Henry of Vernon and Floyce Smith and husband Michael of Arcadia; sons, A. V. Walker and wife Allie of Vernon, David Gale Walker and wife Shirley of Quitman, Max Walker and wife Tommie of Quitman, Winston Walker and wife Nancy of Ruston, Royce Walker of Quitman, and Ralph Walker and wife Teresa of Quitman; Sister, Bam Edmiston of Clay; 36 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and 13 great- great-grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Additional Comments: Mazie Lou Nazworth Walker was the daughter of John Henry Nazworth and Nancy Carolina "Callie" Cox Nazworth. My Papaw, A. B. Walker, married Mazie on September 22, 1932 in Jackson Parish, Louisiana.
