Services held Tuesday for Mrs. Walker
Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Mae Walker, age 71, of Chatham, were held at 4 
PM Tuesday, October 19, in the Buck Edmonds Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro.
Rev. Jack Shaw conducted the services. Burial was in the Chatham Cemetery 
under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Walker died Monday morning, October 18, in Jackson Manor Nursing Home in 
Jonesboro after a brief illness.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Walker of Jonesboro and Jimmy Walker of 
Monroe; 
Three daughters, Mrs. Faye Rene Irvin of Chatham, Mrs. Nelda Bentel of Gretna 
and Mrs. Linda Ellerbe of West Monroe; 11 grandchildren and 2 great 
grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers were Mike Davis, Larry Head, Eugene Norred, Earl McKellar, 
Clifford Cartwright, L. C. Crawford, William Massey and Morgan Cockerham.
