George W. Womack was born June 10, 1858, and departed this life Nov.
15, 1917, 59 years, 5 months and 15 days of age. He united with the
Baptist Church, July 1892, at Pleasant Hill and united with the
Masonic Fraternity January 25, 1902 and lived a consistent member
until his death. Bro. Womack was married to Susan Chuie Chatham, Dec
31, 1882, who died Sept. 9, 1900. He was married to Alpha Smith, Nov
8, 1908. He leaves a wife, Father, one brother and five children and
many other relatives and friends to mourn his loss. His remains were
laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Masonic honors and a
host of friends present.Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord,
henceforth they may rest from their labors and their works will
