On Saturday March 18th, death claimed one of the dearest known and
beloved ladies of Jackson parish, Mrs. S. H. Wyatt, which occurred
at home near Wyatt, at the age of 73 years, after a brief illness,
the cause of her death being pneumonia.In addition to her husband,
the deceased is survived by five children. Many friends from
Jonesboro and other points in the parish were present for the
funeral and a great quantity of exqusite floral offerings testified
to the great esteem, and affection in which the deceased was held.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the
Gansville cemetery, Rev. J. C. Price of Jonesboro officiating.
