Davis; daughter of the late Clarence Jackson and Mrs. Ella Harris Cranchaw and the late Mrs. Ruth Mosely; niece of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson V. Acox, Mrs. Lillian Henderson, and Mrs. Alma Harris; aunt of Mrs. Jacqueline M. Hagan; mother-in- law of Ray Davis, Jr.; sister-in-law of Mrs. Emelda Burrell, Harold Burrell, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fisher, Ernest Brown and Burney Roy; also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews and relatives. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh, First Free Mission, New Zion, First African, Greater Morning Star and Second Good Hope Baptist Churches, St. Joseph Helping Hand, Divine Church of Christ, All Saints Catholic Church, Postal employees of Station A, National Association of Letter Carriers, Sears and Roebuck Company (Oakwood), South Central Bell (Metairie office), AMF Tubescope, Inc., West Jefferson General Hospital, and Nelson Harper Post No. 554 American Legion, are invited to attend the funeral services from the Murray Henderson Funeral Home, 1209 Teche St., Algiers, La. on Friday August 16, 1974, at 11:00 o'clock a.m. Religious services at Shiloh Baptist Church, 723 Magellan St., Gretna, La., Rev. Albert Henderson officiating. Interment in McDonoghville Cemetery. Wake on Thursday August 15, 1974 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home Murray Henderson Funeral Home in charge of service. Additional Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew my grandfather, Clarence Jackson, Emelda Jackson Brown's father, and husband of Ella Harris. Thank you.
