He was born in Shuqualak, Ms., son of the late Sam and Anna Mae Gurley Clark. He was a Veteran of World War II, a retired electrician from American Sugar Refinery, and Past Master of Masonic Lodge Number 191, New Orleans. Surviving are wife, Myrtle Reid Clark; 2 sons, Edward Lee Clark and Robert Dale Clark; daughter, Jac Lyn C. Owenby; daughter-in-law Shiela Clark. 2 Step-daughters, Vanessa Riemer; Norma Jean Fechtner, 2 brothers, Roger Clark and Earl Clark; and 6 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers; Floyd and Edward Clark. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 6 PM until 9 PM, and after 8 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 til 11 AM.
