Brother of Catherine Brundage, Mary Durr, Frank, James and Joseph Newby and the late Arthur and John Newby. Father- in-law of Susan Ledet, Roland Carmouche, Jerry Thibodeaux, Marcia Coker, Willery (Poochie) Autin. Grandfather of Candy Carmouche, Tara Pierce, Roland (Jay) Carmouche, Jr., Warren (Mikie) Newby III, Mickey Carmouche, Mickey Paul Hartman, Mindy Carmouche, Nicole Autin, Todd Newby, Jennie Jo Plaisance, Tiffanie Thibodeaux, Dawn Carmouche, Christopher Newby, Hollie Newby, Tracy Newby, Jr., Courtney Autin, Katie Newby, Krystle Carmouche, Brittany Newby and Robin Newby II. Great-grandfather of Jenna Carmouche, Ashley Newby, Hunter Carmouche, Madison Pierce and Kenneth Plaisance III. Godfather of Rosalie Armes. Age 68 years. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for past 50 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Schlumberger, Inc., Wal-Mart Clearview, Jefferson Parish Pumping Station, Tulane Medical Center, Worley Middle School and New Orleans Food and Spirit are invited to attend funeral services from Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., 7040 Lapalco Blvd. at Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Parlors will be open on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 from 9:00 AM until funeral time.
