RICKS
Leon William Ricks, owner of Airline Park Supermarket, died Saturday at
East Jefferson General Hospital.  He was 75.  Mr. Ricks was born in New 
Orleans and lived in Metairie (La.) the past 40 years.  He was previously 
employed by the National Tea Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Taylor Ricks; a brother, Ferdinand
J. Ricks; four sisters, Lucille R. Fischer, Vera Petrie, Marie Louise
Martin and Beverly Husband; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be said today at 11 am at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747
Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie.  Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
