All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ One of the principal events of Jefferson society during the week was the marriage, on Wednesday forenoon, of Mr. Philip Lecorgne, a popular commercial traveler for a large New Orleans establishment, and Miss Kate O’Driscoll, a McDonoghville belle and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel O’Driscoll. The ceremony was solemnized in St. Joseph Catholic church, Gretna, Rev. Ernest Ehrhart officiating, and a large number of the friends of the contracting parties being present to witness the auspicious event. After the ceremony the bridal party repa?red to the O’Driscoll home, in McDonoghville, where a delightful wedding luncheon was partaken of. Mr. and Mrs. Lecorgne left in the evening for a brief trip through the west. # # #
